On this site at various times was a girls' boarding school, a co-educational primary school, a secondary school for girls and a split campus regional primary school. Today, it is the Parish School for the Burdekin district, with children enrolled in classes from Prep to Year 7.
Our ideals are based on the Gospel Values of Christ. Through these ideals, we try to influence the children positively with concern for others, co-operation, obedience, tolerance, respect and honesty.
Education is a partnership between child, school, family and Church, where we see your child becoming a thinking, believing member of society.
Welcome to St Francis De Sales Catholic School Ayr one of the popular educators in your Ayr area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
